COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT CONSIGNMENT
What is the process of consignment?
Consignment involves a customer bringing their vehicle to our dealership for sale. We handle all aspects of the sale process from start to finish, alleviating you from the hassles. We also manage all paperwork, financing arrangements, fund clearances, lien releases, and title documentation.
What services are provided with consignment?
Consignment includes a comprehensive package comprising premium detailing, professional photography, and advertising across various platforms. Such as our website, exclusive access to our dealer wholesale network, Facebook, Instagram, Craigslist, AutoTrader, and Google Ads. Additionally, our dedicated social media team ensures extensive exposure through videos, reels, and daily postings of the vehicle across all our social media platforms.
What are the consignment fees?
Our consignment fees are structured as follows:
$3,500 for vehicles priced under $30,000. $5,000 for vehicles under $55,000. $7,000 for vehicles under $120,000 and $10,000 for vehicles priced over $120,000.
Is it necessary to leave my vehicle with your dealership?
Yes, it's essential. In the past, we encountered a situation with a car where it was listed at our shop but kept in the owner's garage. Unfortunately, this led to missed opportunities for deals as the vehicle wasn't readily available for potential buyers to inspect. Moreover, leaving the vehicle with us not only streamlines the process but also ensures that we can manage everything efficiently from start to finish.
What is the process for test drives?
Test drives are scheduled once proof of funds or financing approval has been provided.
What happens if the vehicle is sold for less than my asking price?
Rest assured, our priority is to maximize your return. We ensure transparency by promptly communicating all offers to you, ensuring alignment and minimizing any potential miscommunication. Our goal is to facilitate a smooth and seamless process for all parties involved.
What is the duration of the consignment period?
Our consignment periods typically range from 30 days to 2 months. If the vehicle doesn't sell within this timeframe and you wish to continue, we're flexible and willing to extend the consignment period. However, it may be necessary to reevaluate the selling price to align with market fluctuations.
